Cain Velasquez is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and friend/training partner of Cormier, who took to Twitter to comment on the u༺pcoming super fight:

Velasquez is teasing a potential bout with Cormier, but ♋UFC President Dana White did say that DC could relinquish the heavyweight gold if he won it at the event.
Alexander Gustafsson is the #1 ranked light heavyweight in the UFC right now and he isn’t too 🌳happy about the upcoming title fight.

Gustafsson lost a close decision to Cormier at UFC 192 in October 2015, but has only competed twice in the last ▨two years.
