Amanda Lemos Notified Of Potential USADA Violation

Amanda Lemos made her UFC debut a few months back at UFC Fight Night Glasgow, suffering a TKO loss to Leslie Smith.

Things have taken a turn for the worse now for the fighter because Lemos has been notified by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) o꧂f a potential violation.

The potential violation came from an out of competition sample that was col♏lecte🔯d on November 8.

While Lemos has yet to comme﷽nt on the ma🍷tter, the UFC has issued the following statement:

“The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Amanda Lemos of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-o🔜f-competit🌺ion sample collected on November 8, 2017.

“USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-﷽Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adj🅷udication of this case involving Lemos. Under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full and fair legal process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. Additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.”

If the Brazilian fighter is fo💞und guilty of the pote🌜ntial violation, then she could face up to a one year suspension since this would be the first violation.
