Alexander Gustafsson came up short against then UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones in a title bout h✱eld back at UFC 165 in September of 2013.
Jones has since failed two drug tests and is still awaiting punishment from USADA for a 🔥failed test in line with UFC 214.
The ♑Swedish fighter has since taken to Twitter to accuse Jones of using the “good stuff” during their battle, leading to Jones firing back on social media:
-- ꦇcoming from u man.. being tough is going true the champ rounds without the “good stuff” 💫-- now step up and I’ll show u!!
— Alexander Gustafsson (@AlexTheMauler)
Brilliant come back, just what I expected from you. I guess shogun, rampage, Bader etc. could all use the same excuse now too. Do you look yourself i⭕n the mirror and call yourself champ now that “I cheated”
— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones)
Please tell me you convinced yourself that I was on steroids during our f🧜ight -- please tell me you convinced yourself I was ever on steroids--
— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones)
The only “good stu🧜ff” I used to send you packing was my big old American balls. Try spending a little more time here, maybe you’ll learn a thing or two
— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones)
If Gustafsson achieved anything during his latest Twitter feud, it was that the fighter was finally able to get longtime rivals Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones to agree on something.
I don’t even like DC and I enjoyed this. Too funny -- Alex bring all your tough guy shit to the championship rounds next timeꦯ ----
