Jessica Penne Notified Of Potential USADA Violation

MMA

Female strawweight competitor Jessica Pen📖ne has been notified by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) of a potential out-of-competition failed drug test.

However, the competitor made odd history as she’s the first fighter to potentially fail a test due to a review of her bi💝ological passport.

The sample submitted by Penne originally came back negative, but then the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) checked Penne’s biological 🌃passport and they saw a variance.

For those who don’t know what a biological passport is, it’s used to monitor selected biological variables over time that indirectly reveal the effects 🎃of doping rather than attempting to detect the doping substance or method itself.

Once the variance was detected and although the illegal sub෴stance has yet to be revealed to the general public, WADA informed USADA and then USADA informed Penn🎃e of the potential violation.

No punishment of any kind has been handed out to the fighter as of this writing. The female strawweight last competed at UFC Fight Night 108 and suffered a decision loss to ๊Danielle Taylor. Due to the fact that she lost her last bout, any punishment given will not affect the result of that fight in any fashion.

Neiꦕther Penne or the UFC have yet to comment on the potential failed drug 💎test.
