NFL free agent Greg Hardy made waves earlier t🍃his week when he announced that he's pursuing a career in MMA. Well, Jay Glazer isn't exactly happy about that.

Glazer, who is not only a reporter for FOX Sports, but also an MMA trainer, said on The Rich Eisen Show that he doesn't want Hardy to b🌳e given a chance to compete in the sport. It was announced that Hardy would be putting his football career on hold in order to focus on an MMA career.

“It’s pretty cut and dried, here,” Glazer said. “And I asked all my fellow MMA coaches not to give this guy a chance because he doesn’t deserve it. It’s a privilege𓆉 to play this sport or play football, and we here at Unbreakable Performance, and I know other places I’ve worked, we actually train women to defe𒆙nd themselves against people like Greg Hardy and with threats to violence."

Hardy last played for the Dallas Cowboys last year, and was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend a couple of years ago. While he was sentenced to 18 months’ probaﷺtion, those charges were later dropped when the alleged victim refused to testify in an ꦆappeal. Glazer believes that Hardy's lack of remorse throughout this whole situation doesn't warrant a second chance, telling the former defensive end to "choose another sport."

“I just think, first of all, the guy feels absolutely no remorse whatsoever and people are going, ‘Oh, well don’t you believe in second chances?’ What second chance? He’s not asking – there’s been no remorse. I love this sport. It’s a beautiful sport where you learn all these different arts,” Glazer said. “Someone like this does not deserve the privilege to do that. So yes, I’m calling on every other coach out there to not train this dude. He does not deserve it, he doesn’t deserve to be allowed to be around us, it’s not what🐷 we stand for."

Hardy played five seasons for the Carolina Panthers. He was suspended for most of the 2014 season before being signed by the Dallas Cowboys for the 2015 season. He failed to make💮 the Cowboys roste🎉r for this season and was not picked up by any other team.
