Gable, real name Chas Betts, recently posted a picture of him training in Iowa City🐟 with Dan Ga🍌ble, who stopped by to coach.
Dan 🐽Gable is best remembered for his gold medal victory at the 1972 Olympics in Munich, Germany. He also was head coach of the University of Iowa for decades. Betts is an accomplished amateur wrestler who made it to the 2012 Olympics in London where he qualified, but lost in the following round.
Of course, Gable isn't just training wit💃h his namesake. He's also been training with his newfound tag team partner, Shelton Benjami💙n.
Benjamin and Gable became number one contenders to the Smackdown tag team titles this past Tuesday on Smackdown Live, wher𝓀e they beat The Ascension, The Hype Bros. and Breezango to win the opportunity. It isn't currently known when they'll get the shot.
