Ring of Honor announced a big change on Sunday, as the company confirmed that matchmaker Nigel McGuinness will no longer be company matchmaker. McGuinness hasn't wrestled in years as he stepped away from the ring due to medical i💮ssues following his TNA run, and has been working in his on-scrꦫeen role ever since.

Speculation surrounding McGuinness’ sudden resignation has begun to boil among ROH officials. W🃏hile some chas🦄tised his leniency toward Bullet Club’s behavior in the summer, others believe that now McGuinness may be under extreme duress from Bullet Club’s Adam Cole for changing the stipulations of the Final Battle main event just days in advance.
