The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, recently appeared on , and while it was a far-reachingĀ interview that touched on a broad scope of topics, the thing that most people want to talk about is what the Youšng Bucks said about joining WWE.
š¦Long story short: They're not interested, atź§ least not now.
Long story long:
Nick: āRight now, we canāt, obviously, because weāre under a contract for the next, what, 18 months or so. But I donāt knź¦ow. Itās such a hard question to answer because right now, Iād say ānoā, obviously, because I canāt (breach our contract) Ā and weāre having a blast on our own, doing it the way we do it. Weāre having a good time doing it. I donāt know. Itās 'never say neverā, I guess. You canāt really say ānoā to that because that is the place everyone has wanted to wrestle, so I canāt say ānoā, but, as of now, weāre happy with what weāre doing.ā
Matt: āEven if we were available right now, now is not the time to gšo for us because everybody in the world is going there and so for the first time I can even remember, it doesnāt seem cool to go there right now.Ā I think for us, if we did sign right now, weād probably be lost in the shuffle. And weāre so, so, so appreciated right now, like, by the companies we wrestle for. Like, weāre pushed to the top, weāre in the main events, we pretty much get whatever we want creatively. Like, weāre doing our own angles at this point, so how do weā¦ it would be hard to walk away from all that. But in 18 months, two years, or whatever our contract is, itāll be interesting because Iām sure weāre going to at least want to talk to every company and to make a great decision for our families and for ourselves. And I think if it doesnāt happen in 18 months, then, it probably wonāt happen.ā
So right now, that's a definite "NO."
But in a year and a half, it's a resoundināØg "MAź¦ÆYBE."
