Zay says Jon Mš½oxley hasš¼ good intentions but different views.
Since Jon Moxley returned in late Aź¦¬ugust, he has made it clear that he has a vision for AEW, and he will do whatever it takes to execute it. He haš„s been critical of the state of AEW, and he has formed The Death Riders to help carry out his vision.
Speaking with Tim Battle and ELi on the , Zay and Quen were asked about Moxley'ą± s actions and his vision for AEW. Quen noted that they had been sidetracked by the tag team titles.
"Right now, weāre in a tough spot because when Moxley declared war, we were kind of up in the front, like we [were] ready to go to war for AEW. Not saying weāre not gonna go to war for AEW. We kind of got a little sidetracked, though. But weāre still paying attention to everything thatās gonna happen. So I would say as far as Moxley goes, just like we did [with] The Elite, we get his ass out," Quen said.
Zay then stated that he felt like Moxley had good intentions, but he did not agree with the way he was going about iš®t. He said that everyone loved AEW and wanted the best for it, but they had different ideas. Zay compared the situation to thļ·ŗe feud between Captain America and Iron Man in "Captain America: Civil War".
"I feel like Moxley has good intentions, but itās just the way heās going about it. Everybody loves AEW. I know Moxley definitely loves AEW. We want the best for AEW ultimately, but itās just the way he goes about it. We donāt agree with what heās doing to accomplish that goal, and I kind of compare it to the Civil War, with Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America, they both had ideas to make the world better, both had their own views on it. Itās just the way, how they went about it. They all want the best, but thatās just the way how they want to go about it. I think thatās what weāre dealing with now, the friction between AEW and the Death Riders. We all want the best for AEW, but itās just the way we go about it, and I donāt agree, and Iām pretty sure a lot of people agree with me, I donāt agree with what Moxley and his crew are doing to reach that goal. If Moxley brings his ass over here again, weāll beat his ass up," Zay said.
During the interview, Private Party discussed winning the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Check out their comments here.
