"The Viper's" injury has been confirmed.
Reports made the rounds over the past number of days which presented reasons as to why the former 13-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton was not a part of WWE's European tour. One of the two reports noted that Orton was off the tour because he recently underwent knee surgery and another report that came by way of the noted that Orton was off the tour due to th🍬e limited schedule that he has been working for quite some time now.
Today, that "The Viper" did undergo successful knee surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear in his left knee. Orton was last seen on WWE programming when he attempted to recapture the WWE United States Championship from Jeff Hardy at 'Backlash'. Orton stated to WWE.com that he has known that he has needed this surgery since last year and it w🥀as the right time to get it done.
“I’ve known I needed the surgery since late last year, but I’ve been waiting for the right time to get my knee cleaned out,” Orton told WWE.com. “Right now was the right time.”
Randy Orton i♌s at home with his family but stated that once he is healthy he will be back to dominate over the SmackDown Live roster.
