WWE has given the beach ball a death sentence.
After their significant -- and unwanted – presence at both SummerSlam and Monday Night RAW in Brooklyn this week, beach balls were added to t🧸he banned products list ahead of Tuesday night’s tapings of Smackdown Live and 205 Live at the Barclays Center.
According to , the WWE informed all members of the arena’s security 🤡team to keep a look out for beach balls as fans entered for the show. In addition to the balls, pool noodles and other inflatable, bouncy objects were also prohibited from being brought in.
Some fans attempted to inflate and bounce them around on Tuesday, but security quickly took the balls awa༺y.
This wasn’t the first time that beach balls have been brought into a show and stolen ꩵthe attention away from the performers in the ring, but it was definitely the most noticed due to the fact that the superstars started to pay attention to what was going on.
First, Cesaro, in the middle of his match with Sheamus against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the RAW Tag Team Championships at Summerslam, ran into the crowd to take and destroy a ball. Then there was John Cena on Monday night pretty much urging the fans in atte🃏ndance to keep the antics up by showing support for💝 the balls.
It’s unclear right now if the beach ball ban is permanent, but I think I speak for everyone in hoping that it finds itself alongside the lase🍸r pointer going forward.
