More deta❀ils are coming out about the upcoming WWE Women's Tournament.
is reporting that WWE will tape the tournament July 13 and 14 from Full Sail University, at the sജame venue used for the bulk of NXT tapings. The finals of the tournament will air as part of a live special on WWE Network, which will be broadcast on🍰 August 29.
PW Insider reports that, unlike the Cruiserweight Classic that aired weekly on the WWE Network last year, the women's tournament will be released in sets as video-on-demand programming on the WWE Network, similarly to ꦆhow other original content su✤ch as Holy Foley! was released on the streaming service.
Meanwhile, is reporting that Jim Ross is likely to be the lead announcer for the women's tourney. Ross signed a new contract with WWE just before WrestleMania 33, and called the main event between The Undertaker and Roman Reigns. Ross recently announ♚ced he was providing com🧸mentary for the upcoming WWE UK division show that will air on the WWE Network𒊎. That commentary will be done from WWE Studios, as the matches for the first batch of episodes already were tape♋d last week during WWE's European tour.
