All Tye Dillinger wants for his birthday ꧅is his WWE release.
Dillinger took to social media o🍃n Tuesday night to inform fans that he asked WWE for his release. It is not confirmed whether or not Dillinger was granted his release but his staꦫtement shows he is ready to move on from the company.
"Before rumors begin to spread, let me set things straight ahead of time: This evening, I requested my release from WWE. In the past 5 and a half years with them, I have seen and done some wonderful things. Things I am very proud of an will never forget. I have met and have worked with unquestionably, some of the greatest talent on this earth and the pleasure has been all mine," wrote Dillinger. "I feel at this time this decision, as extremely difficult as it was, is what is best for myself and WWE. I wish to continue to grow as a performer and offer those paying hard earned money to watch a show I'm performing on, a little more of myself. To the male and female locker rooms, coaches and producers, to the production/ring crew, all the way up to the very top of WWE and most of all the fans.. I wish you all the very best and thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything."

Dillinger has not performed on SmackDown Live since losing to Shinsuke Nakamura on the Sept. 25, 2018 episode. He suffered a hand injury last October and was out of action for over three months following surgery. He returned at a live event on Feb. 9, losing to Shelton Benj♏amin. He has been working the SmackDown live events with regularity since ret🐼urning.
Fightful has been told by several names in the Smackdown locker rooℱm that this request does not come as a surprise to them, and likely wouldn't be a surprise from management, either.
Dillinger signed with NXT in 2013 and became a🐼 cult hero with his Perfect 10 gimmick. He was called up to SmackDown in✱ April 2017 but was used sporadically at best.
