On AEW Rampage: Grand Slam taping, several of the comp🐎any's stars competed in the Grand Slam Golden Ticket Battle Royale, where the winner would earn a shoꦑt at the world title on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The bout featured a few noteworthy returns, especially that of Brian Cage. He competed in the match, and in doing so, he wrestled on AEW TV for the ꦿfirst time since October 2021. He was in action at ROH Supercard of Honor and Death Before Dishonor, but he has been absent from AEW.
Lance Archer also competed in the contest; he previously had a lengthy run in Japan as part of the NJPW G1 Clim🐈ax💫 32. Dalton Castle was another noteworthy participant.

Page is a former AEW World Champion. He defeated Kenny Omega to win the gold at AEW Full Gear 2021. He later lost the title to CM Punk at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Page recently came up short in hi🦩s quest to win the AEW World Trios Championship at AEW All Out, where The Elite won the gold.
Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson on AEꦦW Dynamite: Grand Slam to wiꦑn the title after it was vacated in due to CM Punk's reported injury.
