Ricochet discusses his r🐈ecent singles bout with Will Ospreay.
Ospreay and Ricochet faced off for the first time in seven years on the October 2 edition of AEW Dynami🐷te, wrestling in a match for the AEW International Championship. The match came to an unfortunate end, as Konosuke Takeshita got involved, causing the bout to go to a no contest.
While speaking with Justin of The Wrestling Classic for a new interview, Ricochet was asked about the match and if it reached their expectati🌱ons for their first matc꧃h against one another in AEW.
“Absolutely. I think so, especially because I just got here. I literally just got here. So this is just the beginning. This was just supposed to be a taste of what will come later. Again, now we’re in the Continental Classic, we’re in the same block, so now we’re gonna have another match, and we’re gonna have to have a definitive winner this time. I think that’s something he and I both were looking for last time was a definitive winner, but it got messed up, and then in the Triple Threat match, we still didn’t get our [decisive winner]. I do feel though we met our own expectations, and we continue to exceed our own expectations."
Elsewhere in the interview, Ricochet bragged to his haters about the possibility of winning the AEW Continental Classic. Learn more by clicking here.
