Report: WWE's Involvement With FloSlam

Although WWE has invested money in FloSports, Vince McMahon and his company have no association with the new pro wrestling streaming service announced by FloSports earlier this week. The streaming chann♚el, FloSlam.tv, signed a five-year agreement with WWN Live, t♈he parent company of EVOLVE.

discussed the new agreement and said that neither WWE nor Pro Wrestling Guer🥃rilla had any affiliation with ❀FloSlam.

EVOLVE and WWE have had a working relationship for more than a year. Footage from EVOLVE events aired duꦍring video packages while the WWE Cruiserweight Classic was taking place, and current WWE cruiserweights Drew Gulak and Tony Nese continue to work for EVOLVE as well.  Zack Sabre, Jr., a semifinalist in the Cruiserweight Classic, also appears regularly for EVOLVE.

According to Meltzer, WWE does own a stake in FloSports but is a silent partner and has no influence or input on other decisions or agreements made by FloSports. WW😼E was one of several entities to contribute to a total investment of $21 million in FloSports, which, earlier this month, unveiled channels for both Roku and Apple TV.

Gabe Sapolsky, the head b✱ooker of EVOLVE, has tweeted the new streaming service will not affect the promotion's relationship𒊎 with WWE:

FloSlam costs $20 a month, or $150 for a year's subscription. It will live stream its first event, 🔯SHINE 38, next Friday, November 4. SHINE is an all-female wrestling promotion under the WWN banner.

While other independent wrestling companies may be joining FloSlam in this new endeavor, apparently PWG will not be one of them. Meltzer reported that PWG flatly rejected the offer from FloSports with♛out any discussions. PWG also has turned down a similar offer from the Fite TV app.
