One of the favorites to win the Mae Young Classic apparently suffered a con🦋cussion during the tapings earlier this month.
According to , Kairi Sane, (formerly Kairi Hojo) the reꦰcent transplant from Japan, is also "dealing with some neck pain," but NXT and WWE officials say she'll be cleared to return to the ring in early August. Without spoiling the events from the tapings, it is unclear during which match she might have sustained the injuries.
