MVP comments on The Hurt Busi🌠ness not getting back together and shares a nixed idea.
MVP has been open about his frustration regaღrding the Hurt Business, as he has made it clear that he wanted the group to get back together in WWE, but Vince McMahon and later Triple H did not book their reunion. MVP and Bobby Lashley then left WWE and signed with AEW; MVP debuted in September, and Lashley arrived in October. They have reunited with Shelton Benjamin to form The Hurt Syndicate.
On November 19, MVP took to Twitter/X to share some of his thoughts about The Hurt Business. In one post, he noted that there was a moment during the Pandemic Era when꧃ "the old man", presumably referring to Vince McMahon, wanted to turn The Hurt Business into the NOD 2.0, and he brough💧t in Mark and Ron, likely meaning Mark Henry and Ron Simmons.
MVP wrote that they fought him on it and said that their group was never about race, as it was alway💞s about their organic friendship and desire🌺 to make money doing what they love.
There was a moment during the "PC Era" when the old man wanted to turn "The Hurt Business" into NOD 2.0. He even brought in Mark & Ron. We fought him on it. Our group was NEVER about RACE. It's always been about our orga🗹nic friendship and desire to make money doing what we love!
