Moose Has Flirted With The Idea of Entering Mixed Martial Arts

Could we ever see Moose in the Octagon? Maybe!

Moose was recently part of Impact Wrestling's weekly conferešŸ“–nce call. When asked a question about Moose possibly doing MMšŸŒA, he was open to the idea.

Ā I've always been a big fan of MMA. Actually, one of my really good friends Frank Trigg was one of the guys who helped me get into professional wrestšŸ¼ling, believe išŸŒŗt or not.

I've trained in MMA. I had flirted with the idea of going into the octagon at some point. Or whatevā™šer you call it.

I know 'octagon' is more of a UFC phrase. But with what's goināœƒg on in American Top Team, you never knšŸ…˜ow.

If the right kind of money anšŸŽ¶d the right maź¦°tch-up came up, I wouldn't be opposed to doing it. I mean, I have good friends who can help me with training. You never say never. And I'll never say no.

Moose isn't a stranger to switching sports. Real name Quinn Ojinnaka, he was an offensive lineman and played for a number of NBA teams including the New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams and the Indianapolis Colts. He left the NFL in 2012 to give pro wrestling a try, soon joining Ring of Honor. He left the promotion last year to join Impact.
