Originally scheduled for just a one time only return,đ it seems like Major League Wrestling is looking to make a full time return to the independent scene.
In an interview with the , MLW CEO Court Bauer mentioned that he was looking to bring the promotion back full time in the Orlando area after the success of MLW's first show in well over a decade, One Shot.
âWe were really happy with the first show at Gilt [Nightclub]â Bauer said. âWe see the chance to grow in Florida, and using Orlando as a base of operations makes sense.â
When talking about the past, đBauer also mentionedđ that MLW did well in the Florida area in the past, and focusing in on the Orlando area makes the most sense at the moment.
âWe did really well in Fort Lauderdale a million years ago,â Bauer said. âWeâll look at Jacksonville â I remember a show there that didnât do great in advance but had terrific walkup, for some reason. We did one show in Tampa, and we might try to hit some smaller markets. But really -- if we expand beyond Orlando -- Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville are in the crosshairs.â
MLW's next shđŠow, Never Say Never, will return to the Gilt ê©ČNightclub on December 7.
