The two were on opposite sides of a multi-person match at 💖this morning's NJPW New Year Dash. Suzuki continued t♑o work on his already bad leg on the outside as Suzuki-gun picked up the win over War Machine, Michael Elgin and Hiroshi Tanahashi. After the match, Suzuki took a microphone and said that Tanahashi was next in Suzuki-gun's sights.

But that wasn't the only indication of a future title match. Roppongi 3K, despite losing to the Young Bucks in a six man tag te﷽am match earlier in the card at New Year Dash made it clear they wanted a rematch over the IWGP Jr. tag team titles. And in the main event, Hiromu Takahashi laid out Will Ospreay while EVIL planted Hirooki Goto with the STO. SANADA was the one who set his sights on Kazuchika Okada, putting him to sleep with a dragon sleeper.

Three New Beginning shows are set to take place on January 27 and 28 in Sapporo and Feb👍ruary 10 in Osaka. These may be when we see these ti♕tles defended next.
