Lio starting at the top.
Last week it was revealed that "The Man Of The Hour" Lio Rush was heading to 205 Live soon. The five-foot dynamo signed with WWE during the summer of last year and made his first appearance on NXT TV a few months after his signing. The rush of momentum that Lio had coming into NXT was halted as he made a joke about Tenille Dashwood's release from WWE which resulted in backlash from fans and wrestlers inside and outside of the company. Due to Lio's🦂 actions he would not be featured on NXT TV until January of this year and has not been made an appearance on the show since that January showing.
Rush has been working the NXT Florida loop where he was being accompanied to the ring by his 6'10 "enforcer" Babatunde Aiyegbusi. Rush will soon be bringing his talents to Tuesday nights on the WWE Network and prior to his arrival Lio took aim at the top of the cruiserweight division; putting the current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander on notice.
Alexander then responded to Lio which led to the two men going back and forth and holding back no word🐽s when responding to one another.
Lio Rush's 205 Live debut is upon us and so is the main event of next week's show as Mustafa Ali, Buddy Murphy, and Hideo Itami will compete in a Triple-Threat match to bump themselves up in the rankings as the next challenger🔯 to Cedric Alexander's WWE Cruiserweight Title.
