Randy Savage's rap album:

Goldberg: Adam Sandler Took Great Care Of Everyone On 'The Longest Yard'

Um... I wrote one song on that 🦋album. First of all, I do not like rap music. He asked me if I could participate in it and I said I am not a rap person. So I gave him one thing, the Perfect Friend. That was for Curt. Put yourself in my shoes, he wanted to say something derogatory about Hogan and I can't do that. After all Hogan did for me, I wasn't going to bite the hand that fed me. I love him for what he did for me, and I still appreciate it, and I'm not going to write a derogatory Hogan song after he made me on NBC.

If he could relive a match he was involved in:

Um, I would say... as Leapin' Lanny I was really proud of my match with Bob Orton Jr. and Terry Funk. Orton brought me up to his level. A🧔nd Terry Funk, he was not against anything that was going to get over. By losing to hi𝓀m, he made me very important and THEN he beat me.

How "The Genius" came to be:

Randy and I use to ride around a lot together a lot, and we knew I'd been there five years a Leapin' Lanny and it was getting tired. We were speculating on gimmicks and I thought of the gimmick boy genius. So Vince said OK, the Genius Lanny Poffo, they did six vignettes and changed the name to just The Genius. They made a transition to let the people know we weren't polling one over🍸 on them, that I was Lanny Poffo but would be known as the Genius.
