Kurt Angle ended his wrestling career at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. Following that, he was being utilized in a backstage capacity as a producer🌃. Kurt Angle was released by WWE on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, and has since been focused largely on his podcast, the Kurt Angle Show.
Now, Kurt Angle says he is returning to WWE TV.
Kurt Angle revealed that he got a call from WWE to return as aౠn on-screen character “for the next month or so” as WWE ramps up its build to this year's WrestleMania. Fightful can also confirm that Kurt Angle is factored into discussions regarding upcoming WWE programming.
"Yes, I did [get a call] from the WWE and they want me to be involved in the show for the next month or so. I'm really excited about it. So we'll see what's in store for me," said Angle.
