Kurt Angle hasn't wrestled since WrestleMania 35 when he lost to Baron Corbin in his retiꦅrement match.
Angle iꦬs coming off double knee surgery, but hasn't fully ruled out the possibility of returning to the ring one more time.
Despite him saying that he hasn't ruled out one more match, fans shouldn't expect to s💮ee Angle back in the ring anytime soon.
"No, there's not," he said on the when asked if there's an itch to get back in the ring. "It's just that, in pro wrestling, anything is possible and maybe down the road, I might have the itch to do it again. I don't have it now and I don't want it now, but you never know. You wait a couple years after knee replacement surgery, see how you feel, and if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, that's okay."
Angle had double knee replacement surgery in May.
When asked if he would still like his last match to be against John Cena, Angle replied, "John, I still think he's possibly still in his prime. I would definitely say John Cena. The reason for that is, I'm 53 years old, I'm not the same athlete I was when I was 33. When I decided to retire, it was because I lost a step and I didn't want the fans to remember me as the person who was in the ring when I returned to WWE. I wanted them to remember me as the person who was in his prime who was literally the best wrestler in the world. Knowing that John is still in his prime, I know he can carry me through a match."
Angle also mentioned a guy like Seth Rollins as someone who would be a good opponent since Rollins is also in his prime. Angle has mentioned multiple times that he was ꦗhoping to face Cena at WrestleMania 35 for his lasওt match.
Elsewhere during the interview, Angle commented on WWE having an idea for him, in a non-wrestling role, for WrestleMania 39. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
