The Sp🅰anish Wrestle🍃r talks about how he learned he was facing Kushida in his Debut on NXT 2.0.
A-Kiꦐd, one of the newest additions to the Men's NXT roster stood out on March 15,𓄧 2022 after defeating Kushida in a singles competition, but he didn't learn about the match until it was announced by NXT 2.0 while the show was airing on Television. He learned the match was happening at the same time as the fans at home
Speaking with Quetzalli Bulnes in WWE Español Show , The former NXT🌄 UK Heritage Cup Champion discussed how he learned he was wrestling his NXT 2.0 debut against Kushida as NXT Roadblock was airing on television, leaving him to prepare a week before the match.
On Learning he was wrestling Kushida: “I will start with how I learned about it, as it was when everyone else learned about it. I knew I was coming to NXT 2.0 because I had been told that I was going to be here and I already had the tickets purchased, but then I saw that promo where Kushida is watching the video package and he’s talking about he could be better than me or not and that he had to prove it. Right there is where I started to get excited because Kushida is a hero. He is a person I had admired all my life, and someone whom I would love to be in the ring with, but I wasn’t sure if he was going to be my first opponent and when they (NXT 2.0) confirmed it, it was all I had in my mind. I started to train only for Kushida and I was over the moon to debut with someone like that, especially in front of a crowd. I did not expect that reaction and it seemed like everyone was excited for me being there and, honestly, it was really special.”
A-Kid is scheduled to face Grayson Waller in a North American Champion Ship Ladder Match Qualifier for the March 22, 2022 edition of NXT 2.0, with the Ladder Match itself scheduled to take place in NXT Stand & Deliver live from the American Airlines Center at Dallas, Texas on Sꦏaturday, April 2, 2022. A-Kid's latest match in NXT UK was in a defeat against Charlie Dempsey on the March 10, 2022 edition of NXT UK.
