Japanese supers꧅tar Kairi Hojo has officially entered the Mae Young Classic. She announced it on the JumboTron during WWE's Tokyo 🎶Live Event.
And yes, she will now be called "Kairi Sane." As opposed to her elbow drops, which are IN-sane. (See what I did🌄 there?)
We did a full write-up on Hojo (and her elbow drop) back when she signed with WWE in March, which you can read at this link.
Also added to the Mae Young Classic is Scottish bruiser Viper, or as she'll now be kno🌊wn in WWE, Piper Ne⛄vin.
Viper has been competing since 2009 for the Scottish Wrestling Alliance, Pro Wrestling EVE, Insane Championship Wrestling💯 and WCPW.
And finally, having qualified for 🐈the tournament at the last NXT taping, Bianca Blair is also in the Mae Young Classic. Blair is perhaps best known for her o🌱utstanding athletic ability, which she showed off at the Performance Center Combine.
You can watch her qualifying match against Aliyah at this link.
Earlier today, it was confirmed that New Zealand's own Evie, now called Dakota Kai, has also entered the tournament, bringing t🎐he field to 13.
