After years of bo💯th battling through the independent c𒁃ircuit, Candice LeRae joined her husband Johnny Gargano on the WWE NXT roster at NXT Takeover Philadelphia.
The well traveled veteran LeRae made her name battling men, and i💛t wasn't a sure thing that she'd ever be picked up by WWE. Gargano, who once again got to fight side by si🌼de with his wife, discussed her debut on .
I get to go out there and live my dream and to do it alongside my wife and watch her liv﷽e her dream as well …A year ago actually last September, I teamed with her in my final indie match, I wrestled her and then teamed with her, that was my last indie match in Cleveland, Ohio. And we didn’t know what would happen in the future, what we thought was that this could potentially be the last time we would be in the ring together and she definitely thought it was.I always held hope that the day would come. And here we are almost a year later teaming together in an NXT ring, its pretty wild and it's super cool and like I said it’s a dream come true.
Shortl🧔y after the appearance, it would go a step further as the two teamed up to defeat rivals Zelina Vega and Andrade Cien Almas on an NXT live event.
