Speaking at the , Cena was asked about The Rock as a potential opponent during hi🥂s retirement tour.

"Great question. There’s always unfinished business in the WWE, which probably makes this announcement extremely surprising because I’m trying to close up shop here. I don’t and never put much stock in expectations that are beyond my control. I’ve tried to lead an existence where I can control what I can, and I am in no position to hand-pick opponents. I’ve always had a wonderful time challenging myself, telling stories with whatever hand I was dealt, so I think that’s part of the allure and part of the excitement of what we’re about to embark on is the stories we can tell and hopefully who’s gonna show up. We’ll see," he said.

Cena and💟 Rock battled at WrestleMania 28 and♛ WrestleMania 29, each picking up a victory.

Asked if there was anyone he wanted to face, Cena replied, “The roster is loaded right now. So is there anybody I haven’t had a chance to work with? Everybody. I think that’s gonna be part of the hype and part of the intrigue about only doing so many dates, is what stories are we gonna tell? I very much look forward to that."

Elsewhere during the press conference, Cena commented on possibly winning a 17th world title. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
