Jim Ross does not think mixed-martial-arts is a good ꧅idea for Jack Swa♓gger.
On Wedne🍰sday, Swagger announced he asked for and received from WWE. He cited lack of creative direction and opportunity to earn more money as his reasons for leaving. He said he would try mixed-martial-arts, if a lucrative opportunity appꦯeared. In , Ross said Swagger has plenty of opportunities in professional wrestling.
"Not in the loop regarding the issues that apparently exist between Okie Jack Swagger and WWE but I'd guess it was likely one or both of the two, C's, cash and creative. I am not in contact with either entity involved in this issue. There is ample pro wrestling work for Swagger to immerse himself in if he gets his WWE release but I'd likely recommend that the former OU Wrestling All American refrain from getting into MMA this stage of his life. Swagger can help any pro wrestling promotion that features him and perhaps Swagger heading to Impact Wrestling might not be a bad idea," wrote Ross.
Swagger had been with WWE since 2006 when he joined the developmental system. along the way he was ECW Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, and won Money in The Bank. He has never wrestled for a company that was not WWE or in its developmental system because Swagger transitioned directly from his amateur wrestling career to WWE.
