Jim Ross thinks Corey Graves has a bright𝄹 future.
The former WWE commentator gave his opinion of Graves after it was announced he was leaving NXT for Raw. The wrestler turned commentator announced during the NXT Takeover: San Antonio pre-show ꧃that he would be leaving, then was on the February 1st edition of NXT. Ross that ♔the move means big things for Graves.
"Nice to see Corey Graves get such a classy send off from NXT as he will be moving exclusively to the RAW roster to broadcast with Michael Cole and Byron Saxton. Graves has a stellar upside and I expect him to continue to evolve and up his game and if he does he could make his mark in the pro wrestling broadcast game in a prominent way. Broadcasters, see Mike Goldberg of the UFC, are often times immediately forgotten when they leave a show, even under sensible circumstances. I thought Jerry Lawler would get some special treatment when he left the air on a regular basis after so many years in WWE. Graves is the brightest young, on air talent that WWE has developed in years and will certainly reunite with the talented Tom Phillips, who I am also a fan of, in the future one has to assume. Both Tom and Cory are keepers for sure," wrote Ross.
Graves started his WWE career at Florida Championship Wrestling. He would go on to wrestle at NXT with guys like Neville, Se🌠th Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt. After a series of four concussions he was deemed unable to perform again. The former NXT Tag-Team Champion was forced to the sideline but found a place in a headset behind the commentator's table.
Ross also discussed Seth Rollin🎀s' injury and possible Wrestlemania matches in his blog which is available along with his other blogs and podcast at .
