Kazuchika Okada has challenged Will Ospreay to a mat♕ch.
After retaining his IWGP Heavyweight championship against SANADA this morning, Okada cut a promo. Chris Charlton's translations, as well as the announcers, indicated that he had challenged IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion Will Ospreay, who also emerged victorious tonight, to 🦂a champion against champion match at their upcoming anniꩵversary show.
This won't be the first time the two will meet. Okada originally squared off against Ospreay back in 💜RPW in 2015, which led to Okada (in storyline) inviting Ospreay to be a part of the C🌄haos stable, joining New Japan. This will be their second ever singles bout against one another.
New Japan's anniversary s🍒how will 🎐take place on March 6 at the Ota Ward Gymnasium in Tokyo. It will mark their 46th anniversary as a company following the split of the JWA in 1972.
