An update on William Regal.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reports, " has learned that talent is of the belief that Wi💦lliam Regal's AEW deal could be up in December of this year. This was also beiಞng speculated at this past weekend's WrestleCade event."
reported "all signs" are that Regal is WWE-bound though there hꦕas been nothing official or confirmed. Fightful Select notes "there is absolutely WWE interest in bringing him back whenever his deal is done."
On Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, MJF hit Regal in the back of the head with brass knuckles, laying him unconscious. Regal was taken out on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance. Regal helped MJF♔ win the AEW World Title at AEW Full Gear, sliding him brass knuckles to use on Jon Moxley.
Regal joined AEW in March when he appeared at AEW Revolution, getting💝 in-between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson, leading to the formation of the Blackpo𒈔ol Combat Club.
He was released by WWE, where he served as WWE Director of Talent Developღment and Head of Global Recrui🎐ting in January.
