Jordan Oliver SHOOTS SOFTLY On Joey Janela, AJ Gray, August Grey, Matt Sydal, Ace Austin, Gregory Iron

Tis the seasonšŸ  for giving, and we like giving out complimentā™›s.

We're not the onlyš’ƒ ones, as Jordan Oliver joined us for our SHOOT SOFTLY series, where we ask pro wrestlers to say nice things about some of their colleagues. Oliver is in action at GCW Slime City this Saturday against Chris Bey. If you're in the giving mood, donate during tš“†he show to help out wrestlers affected by COVID-19.

NXT Live Event Results From Tampa, FL (11/16): Trick Williams vs. Wes Lee Headlines

Ace Austin of IMPACT Wrestling:

"Oh, thatā™’ā€™s so easy. Ace Austin is my favorite wrestler. Yeah. I mean, we just went through three twenty-five minute matches across New Jersey, Indiana, back to New Jersey. But, Ace Austin, I think, is going to be the best wrestler in a few years. I think heā€™s the next AJ Styles. Iā€™ve been saying that since I met him when I was 16 that heā€™s going to be the next AJ Styles. Itā€™s crazy. Heā€™s made for it."

Gregory Iron, who once owned TRAPT on Twitter:

"Gregory Iron sucks. I hate that guy. Nah, heā€™s nšŸ’ice. Heā€™s nice, but heā€™s from Ohio. Like, come on. Ugh, Cleveland. Youā€™re gotta take sixteen showers after that one."

Anthony Greene/August Grey, new WWE signing.

š”"Heā€™s another guy that really helped me out early on and really ą¼’started helping me figure things out. Thereā€™s a few veterans that kind of hang on to you or whatever and start helping you out. Heā€™s one of the guys. I can still go to him right now for advice. Heā€™s getting everything he deserves."

Joey Janela of AEW:

"Yeah, he is like the Godfather of the Indy Scene. Joeyā€™s another guy that helped me get on GCW. He helped me figure stuff out. We had a recent singles match, but prior to that, maybe, three years before that me, him and KC Navarro had a triple threat at a local indy. That was one of the first matches that hešŸŽƒlped me get a little bit of buzz ā€˜cause Joey actš„¹ually put me over on Twitter after it."

AJ Gray, indie star:

"AJ Gray is cool. I hadnā€™t really kšŸ’§nown him until I started wrestling for No Peace. Like, weā€™d been on a lot of the same shows, but once I started doing No Peace, we started talking and stuff. Heā€™s a really cool guy. Probably got the best clothesline on the indies right now. ClešŸŽ‰ans you. Itā€™s crazy, heā€™s so unique. He does similar things to other people, but he does it very AJ Gray. His aesthetic is out of this world."

Matt Sydal, AEW talent, WWE veteran:

"Iā€™ve loved Matt Sydal since I wasšŸƒ like a little kid when I saw him on RAW and ECW doing the shooting star press. I mean, Matt Sydalā€™s so awesome. It was actually a dream, I got to work with him a few months back in Texas. We had a twenty five / thirty minute match and we didnā€™t talk about anything in the back. We called it all in the ring because I told him I was trained by Jimmy, and he was like, ā€˜Oh, okay. I guess you can go then.ā€™ So, we just wrestled and that was awesome."
