From the UFC to the indies to WWE, Matt Riddle seems destined for big things
On the last filming of Matt Riddle's Bro Spot, Riddle told 365betvisa-slots.com some of the things that stuck out to him throughout his indepen🅺dent wrestling career. After appearing at last night's NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, Matt will now be moving on to WWE fulꦗl time.
"The biggest things that stick out to me are the opportunities I've been given. I think my background helped me out, but I've been around the business long enough to know that because of my past, a lot of people were hesitant to deal with me. I worked really hard and got awesome opportunities. A couple of things that I remember that make me really happy are like Shibata giving me opportunities. Coming to the indies and brushing shoulders with me. Matt Riddle's Bloodsport, hopefully we keep that going," said Riddle.
A small part of that journey was here at Fightful, where Matt was a co-host of the popular BroCast. Over the past year or so, we've had several alumni sh♛ow up in WWE, which Matt was quick to point out he ♛had beaten....or should have.
"(I faced Deonna Purrazzo) and I was victorious. Sean Pierson beat me, but that was a fluke Canadian decision. In Japan I would have won. I had the heart. I did (beat Jason Kincaid) at AAW Chicago. I'm shocked UFC hasn't called me to bring me back," Riddle joked. "They probably will, and I'll say 'this is the saddest day of both of our lives.' Do they still push numbers? Then again, I have to let someone try to commit extreme violence on my body. Or I could win in ten seconds and be a real star, and travel and fight at 2 PM on Sunday afternoons in front of fans that don't really like me," said Riddle.
We wish Maꦑtt the best of lu꧃ck during his time in WWE.
