EXCLUSIVE: Adam Page Says Bullet Club Didn't Want To Get Jimmy Jacobs Fired

Adam Page has spent time in his wrestling ca🎃reer teaming with and fighting against Jimmy Jacobs, but Page appar🐓ently couldn't be happier that his old running buddy is back on the scene.

Page discussed Jacobs' release fro♏m WWE and much more during an appearance on the latest episode of "The List And Ya Boy!" hosted by Fightful's dynamic duo of Jimmy Van and Sean Rossꦗ Sapp.

Page, who is part of Bullet Club, was with that faction when they filmed an episode of outside the arena in Ontario, CA, where WWE was holding an episode of Raw. Jacobs came out and with Page, the Young Bucks, and Marty Scurll -- a decision that ultimately led to WWE terminating Jacobs, who had been part of the company for approximate𒁃ly two years as part of the creative team🌱.

Page told Fightful that he wasn't surprised that WWE fired Jacobs for taking the picture, "because we were there, poking the bear and an employee of the company came out and was friendly with and took a picture with and posted a picture with the people who were there to poke the bear. I wasn't surprised. When he came out and said hello I thought that was dangerous in itself. And then he took a picture and I thought, OK, fine just don't post it anywhere. Certainly we agreed we wouldn't retweet it. We wouldn't post the footage of him coming up to us, just because we weren't going to get him in trouble. That was in his own hands and I'm sure he knew. He knew what he was doing. I regret that that had to happen but I think he knew what he was doing."

Jacobs has wasted no time making his presence felt on the independent scene. He made his ROH return last month, taking a selfie with the Bullet Club members in attendance in Chicago on the final night of ROH's Global Wars tour. And, this past Sunday, he made his TNA debut during ꦆBound For Glory. Later this month, Jacobs also is sc❀heduled to wrestle Fenix for AAW.

♊Page said Jacobs' appearance at Global Wars, which happened at the end of🤡 the iPPV in Chicago, all came together rather quickly.

"I'm not sure at what point someone pulled strings somewhere to get Jimmy Jacobs to the building. But once he's there, that day, that afternoon of the pay-per-view, we didn't know exactly what we were going to do, but he's here. We'll figure it out the day of. That was my suggestion, too --  at the end of the four-day tour we're going to take a selfie. Nobody had a camera, and Jimmy be the guy to do it, which was perfectly fitting."

Before Jacobs left for his WW♊E writing job, he worked with Page in the ROH heel faction called The Decade, in a storyline with Page trying to gain membership in the gro𒁃up as a 'young boy."

"We're really glad to have Jimmy there and do something with him," Page said. "He's, at different parts of our career, he's always been a great friend to all of us. I worked with him ... my first few years in Ring of Honor in the Decade. He's a creative genius and he helped me through a lot there, getting started in Ring of Honor."

Page was asked whether he would rather team wit♏h Jacobs 🍰if given the opportunity, or face him in a match.

"I would revel in either, you know what I mean?" Page said. "Jimmy is a creative genius so to work against a creative genius is a challenge, but working with one is also a challenge. Probably I would say the same side of the ring."

Page, who currently holds the ROH Six Man Titles with the Young Bucks, has a busy schedule upcoming. This weekend, he will be part of ROH's trip to Florida. On Saturday night, N🌼ovember 11, he will team with Marty Scurll in a Triple Threat tag match also involving The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) and Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor). That loop of Florida concludes with the final set of TV tapings before Final Battle 2017, scheduled for December 15 in New York City.

"It seems like the 🌌schedule has piꦺcked up a ton, which is good news for everybody. Means more work," Page said.

Page also ♑is heade𓆉d back to Japan, where he will be part of the 2017 World Tag League round-robin tournament, pairing with Bullet Club stablemate Yujiro Takahashi. The World Tag League begins November 18 and runs through December 9.
