Bronson Reed Explains Hopes His Six Tsunamis To Seth Rollins Are His Austin 3:16 Moment

On the August 5 edition of WWE Raw, Bronson Reed made a moment for the age🦩s, as he crushed Seth Rollins with not one, not two, not three, but six Tsunami splashes. Many fans will argue𝔍 that this moment helped Reed become a star, even if it took Rollins out of action for nearly two months.

While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Reed reflected on the segment and said that he realized in the moment how big of a deal it was going to be for his character going forward. Reed also recalled Triple H telling h👍im that the moment was going to live on forever.

“Yeah. It’s one of those things where it is in the moment you start to realize, ‘Oh okay, this is more than just a regular segment of TV.’ I’ve attacked people before on TV, I’ve done similar things but I could just tell by the way the crowd was reacting and the reactions that I was getting in the arena, that when I got backstage it was going to be a similar thing. I remember going through gorilla and Hunter saying, ‘That moment is going to live forever.’ I like to sort of liken it to Austin saying his ‘It’s Austin 3:16’ line, hopefully the six tsunamis will be something that has changed the way I’m perceived and sets me on a bigger trajectory.”

Fightful went on to🔴 compare the Rollins/Reed feud to the feud between Peter Griffin and the chicken from Family Guy. Reed stated that he's Peter Griffin in that situation.

“I’m definitely Peter Griffin. In my mind, even thought that fight is eternal, Peter Griffin will be the one that ends up winning.”
