Former 8-time WWE Champion Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has become one of the more highly requested actors in Hollywood. The movie 'Rampage' which he is starring in is set to release in the United Kingdom today. The news publication based out of the UK caught up with🔜 Johnson and werဣe able to talk with him about a very personal situation that brought the confident star to his lowest point.
“I reached a point where I didn’t want to do a thing or go anywhere. I was crying constantly. Struggle and pain is real. I was devastated and depressed."
He continued by adding on that after he watched his dreams of becoming a professional football pla𒀰yer go down the drain, shortly after his then-girlfriend broke up with him.
“That was my absolute worst time,” Johnson said.
"The People's Champion" would then reveal that he once witnessed his own mother attempt to commit suicide while h🦹e was at the age of 15-years old.
“She got out of the car on Interstate 65 in Nashville and walked into oncoming traffic. I grabbed her and pulled her back on the gravel shoulder of the road." The Rock revealed. "What’s crazy about that suicide attempt is that to this day, she has no recollection of it whatsoever. Probably best she doesn’t. We both healed but we’ve always got to do our best to pay attention when other people are in pain. We have to help them through it and remind them they are not alone.”
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is certainly an inspiration and a role model to many. One man who he is very familiar with, former 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena recently spoke about how much ꦕhe looks up to "The Great One".
