Darren Young is stepping back into the ring.
Fred Rosser (formerly known as Darren Young) left WWE last October after over eight years with the company. He spent time on the early iterations of NXT, became WWE Tag Team Champion, and was the first openly gay wrestler in WWE💖 history. Since leaving WWE, he has not appeared in any wrestling matches but that will cꦍhange on March 9th.
In an inte🅺rview with , Rosser said he has a match planned in his home state of New Jersey at Wrestle Pro.
"I'm excited for my first match back in the ring since October. I'm going to be in Union, New Jersey where that is home for me for Wrestle Pro Online. I'm so excited to get down and dirty again because this is something I've always wanted to do since I was a child. I make my return to the ring March 9th," said Rosser.

Also during the interview, Rosser revealed he will be using his "government name" when he returns to professional wrestling. Even thoug🐷h he said he will be us✅ing his real name, Wrestle Pro has been advertising him as "former WWE Superstar Darren Young." Rosser tweeted the following to express his feelings going into his match.
Honestly, no matter how good I'm at preparing for this challenওge, the pressure to be at the top of my game never goes away. So I don't fightꦗ it, I feed off it. I turn pressure into motivation to do my best. I will face this fight calm and balanced.
