CMLL announced that owner Francisco "Paco" Alonso Lutteroth has passed away on Saturday, July 6 at the ag꧑e of 67. Paco was the grandson of the company’s founder, Salvador Lutteroth.
Paco gained control of the company💟 in 1987 and helped establish CMLL as the top promotion in Mexico throughout the 1990s. CMLL called hi♏m "the main architect of the greatness of Lucha Libre in recent decades."
