Chelsea Green praises Tiffany Stratton.
Chelsea Green has been lauded for her character work in WWE, finding ways to stand out in short segments. Green has shown the ability to put on strong matches when the bell rings, but she knows her ಌbread and butter is in the emotions and character.
"I tried," she said on when asked if she saw herself doing more acrobatics in her matches ala Sol Ruca vs. Kelani Jordan. "I got in the ring at the Performance Center, I learned how to do the standing moonsault. I tried. At the end of the day, what has gotten me where I am is my character work. Making myself the most ridiculous, outlandish character I can possibly be. It worked in IMPACT, it worked in Lucha Underground, it worked here. Why fix something that isn't broken? There are so many people who can do flips. I don't need to be Bianca (Belair). I think the perfect mix of all that, right now, is Tiffany (Stratton). We're all seeing that Tiffany is dabbling in the character work while also doing the flips and flashy stuff. At the end of the day, in WWE, that's why we watch it. We see ourselves in someone in that ring. Whether it's the size, the color of our skin, our backgrounds, the way we work. Someone can do a flip. Someone can stand and do facial expressions. I get paid to do it. I love it. If someone relates to that, that makes me happy."
Green may not being doing flips in the ring, but she did ste🅰al the show at WWE Money in the Bank when she fell off the ladder and crashed through tables on the outside🍰.
Elsewhere during the interview, Green commented on her "fear of heights" in the Money in the Bank ladder match. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
