Velasquez has hinted at transitioning to pro wrestling in the past, having done a little training at the WWE Performa꧑nce Center e🐬arlier this year.

The longtime UFC star holds a 14-3-0 record as a professional MMA fighter and defeated former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lensar at UFC 121 in 2010 to win the gold. Injuries have hampered Velasquez’s run ever since, fighting just eight times in the last eight-plus years. Velasquez last competed in the main event of UFC Fight Night Pho🐟enix, suffering a first round knockout loss to Francis Ngannou.

There has been no comment from Velasquez as to whether or not the transition to pro wrestling will mean the end of his professional MMA cꦫareer.
