reports that San Jose p𓆉olice are investigating a shooting incident involving former UFC Heavywei😼ght Champion and WWE superstar Cain Velasquez that happened on Monday, February 28, near Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue in Morgan Hill.
Velasquez was arrested and booked on a𒊎n attempted murder char𒊎ge.
San Jose Police M﷽edia Relations confirmed the booking.

Police have not released the motive or circumstances as they are still being investigated but said one man was shot and taken to the hospital wit💞h non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting was reported at 3:14 p.m. PT.
Santa Clara County Jail records show Velasquez was booked on February 28 wi🗹th no bail set. A court date is listed for March 2.
Velasquez last fought in MMA on February 17, 2019 when he lost to Francis Ngannou by KO. He joined WWE in October 2019, wrestling only a couple of matches before he was released by the cꦯompany in April 2020. He last wrestled at Triplemanía Regia II in December 2021.
