Brock Lesnar Appears At UFC 226, Gets Called Out By The New UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier

Brock Lesnar is back in the UFC.

For well over a year there have been rumors concerning Brock Lesnar's future with WWE and his possible reemergence back into the UFC. In 2008 it was announced that Brock Lesnar reached a deal with UFC and in his third fight with the company at UFC 91, Brock Lesnar became the UFC Heavyweight Champion by defeating Randy Couture via TKO.

Lesnar held on to the UFC Heavyweight Title for nearly two years until he came across Cain Velasquez who defeated Lesnar at UFC 121. After suffering yet another loss in the octagon in December of 2011, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE during the post-WrestleMania edition of RAW in 2012 and began his next stint with the company. Fast forward four years later to 2016 and Brock Lesnar was still with WWE but at the same time UFC announced that Lesnar would be returning to the octagon once again to face Mark Hunt. WWE made it clear with a statement on the situation that it was a one-off type deal and once Brock completed his July 9th (2016) scheduled fight he would be returningꦆ for their SummerSlam PPV wher𓄧e he eventually left Randy Orton bloodied up in the middle of the ring.

Lesnar defeated Hunt by unanimous decision and five days after the fight it was revealed by the USADA that Brock Lesnar violated their anti-doping policy. The substance that Brock Lesnar was confirmed to have taken and tested positive for was the estrogen blocker Clomiphene. The following seqꦅu🉐ence of events saw Lesnar being fined $250,000 and being suspended from the octagon for one full year in-which he would be able to return after he served that one year suspension. Along the way Brock Lesnar returned to WWꩵE and went on to capture their Universal Championship which he is still the holder of.

Earlier yesterday evening before UFC 226 there were rumblings that Lesnar would be on the UFC 226 show in some form or fashion and Fightful's 🦩own Sean Ross Sapp noted on Twitter that he sp🎃oke with a source who alerted him that Lesnar had reentered the USADA pool and was being hidden but could not confirm that this was 100% happening.

In the main event of UFC 226, Daniel Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic for Miocic's UFC Heavyweight Championship by K.O. to become the second man in UFC history to hold two ti⛄tleꦚs while being in two different weight classes.

Following the bout, Daniel Cormier got on the microphone and proceeded to call out Brock Lesnar who was indeed cag😼e-side for the fight. Brock Lesnar wasted no time getting into the octagon and stepping to the newly-crowned UFC Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar shoved DC and after the commotion settled down, Lesnar had the following to say about the UFC 226 card and Daniel Cormier.

"I walked into this building and watched the Heavyweight disasters from the beginning. Ngannou's a piece of s**t, Miocic, the piece of s**t, DC, I'm coming for you motherf****r." Lesnar said.

WWE themselves sent out a notification on social medi🅺a hyping up the return of their Universal Champion to UFC, and Lesnar's on-screen advocate Paul Heyman chimed in as well.

Dana White would later confirm FightfulSelect.com's report of Lesnar re-entering the United States Anti-Doping Agency drug testing pool. Lesnar still has over six m🎃onths to serve for his suspension🐟.

Fightful's crew is currently reviewing UFC 226 as of this writing. He💦ad over to the podcast to hear their thoughts on the new double-champion of UFC and Brock Lesnar's reemergence into the company as well.
