“It’s pretty amazing. When I was breaking into the business in 1998, the music was huge. Stone Cold Steve Austin’s glass breaking, The Undertaker, D-Generation X, it’s part of what made those guys popular." Roode added. "It’s what the fans are reacting to, it’s part of the performance; from the curtain to the ring, it’s all part of it. I’m really fortunate to have this song given to me and create this ‘Glorious’ character and I’m given the time each week to do (the entrance).”

Roode also discussed how social media plays such a vital role in the WWE product, such as 🌠the Mixed Match Challenge, where he is teaming with the current SmackDown Live Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair.

"That’s the trend right now. When I started, it was all about TV ratings, but TV ratings aren’t the way they used to be. You can’t go by just the TV rating you get. Now, we’re really dialed into the social media ratings, hits or what hashtag is being used the most. We’re social media-driven now, the social media team is huge in WWE. It really helps expand our brand.”

Bobby Roode recently defended his U.S. Title successfully on SmackDown Live and says that he is on a quest to become th♊e "Greatest United States Champion of🐲 all time".
