Big Bill asked about༒ a ꦛpossible TNA contract before he joined All Elite Wrestling.
In 2021, Big Bill joined TNA's roster, but worked on a per show basis. Whe AEW came calling in 2022, it seems he wanted more ꩲfrom TNA, but they were unwilling to meet his request.
While , Bill reflected on the process of joining AEW, noting that he a𓄧sked about a full time contract with IMPACT prior.
"Per show. For a certain amount of time, I couldn’t do certain other promotions. That ran out. Then I was on a handshake deal. I had started hearing that maybe there was interest other places. I asked them for a contract, they were like, ‘Ah, we don’t want to pay that much.’ I totally understand that. That’s what I thought I could get elsewhere. I worked on a handshake deal with them, and then the opportunity came with AEW."
Bill would make his debut in AEW 💃on May 4th 2022, facing off with Wardlow. Since then Bill has become a tag team champion in All Elite Wrestling.
