Mercedes Mone (formerly Sasha Banks) made her NJPW debut at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 when she confronted I▨WGP Women's Champion KAIRI. Mercedes laid out KAIRI with a DDT and declared herself the CEO of the division.
Ahead of her NJPW debut, Mercedes tweeted her "thank yous" to members of WWE.
