Andrew Yang drops some potentially big news.
On Thursday it was reported that WWE would be taking control of talent Twitch accounts in four weeks. WWE will own the accounts, but talent will receive a percentage of t🌳he revenue, which counts against their dow🍰nside guarantees.
In an Vince McMahoღn, talent was informed that they had until October 2 to sever any unauthorized business re💞lationships with third-party platforms.
According to former Presidential candidate Andrew Yang, he has heard from talent that WWE is forcing performers to sign new contracts, saying "streaming on Twitch will become 💫a work obligation and if talent doesn’t stream they will forego earnings, be suspended or face penalties."
Hearing from talent that WWE is forcing performers to sign new contracts that include twitch. Streaming on twitch will become a work obligation and if talent doesn’t stream they will forego earnings, be🌟 suspended or face penalties. Doesn’t sound like independent contractors.

Yang has been outspoken regarding WWE's edict on Twitch and other platforms since it was reported in early September that WWE had asked talent to cease operating on third-party platforms. Yang has gone as far as calling WWE, "fucking greedy" for their stance and highlighted that talen💙t is classified as independent contractors.
Fightful will continue to update fans🧔 on the story as more is known.
