AJ S🅰tyles says he only went to wrestlin🍰g training for his friends.
After dropping out of colꦡlege, AJ Styles went back to his hometown and began hanging out with some old classmates. In an interview on , Styles revealed that going to a professional wrestling school was completely the idea of his ꦺfriends.
"They were just huge fans and they were big jacked up guys and they were friends from High School I knew. They said 'we're going to find a place to train to be pro wrestlers' and I go 'Yeah, whatever. When you do, I'll go with you.' Because I did not think they would find a place,'" said Styles.
His friends would fi🦹nd a school nearby and Styles was a man of his word and went with them. He said he knew professional wrestling was for hജim immediately.
"I thought it could be something I could do," said Styles. "Literally as soon as I took that first bump in that ring when he's just showing me what to do, it's like 'I can do this.' You could not have told me any different," he continued.
Now decades later, AJ Styles has been scheduled to defend his WWE Championship at WWE Fastlane in a six-pack challenge match and if he is successful he will face Shinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania 34 in championship match. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage an🍌d of WWE Fastlane on Sunday.
