UFC Heavyweight Informed Of Potential USADA Violation

Another UFC fighter is in trouble with USADA.

Ruslan Magomedov has not competed since he defeated Shawn Jordan at 🗹an October 2015 UFC event, but according to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), Magomedov has been notified of a potential out of competition test fail♔ure.

Magom📖edov was set to compete at UFC 204 against Stefan Struve, but Magomedov is currently suffering from an uᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚnnamed infection and was pulled from the card.

The UFC released an official statement on the si♐tuation:

“The UFC organization was notified that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Ruslan Magomedov of a potenti♈al Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection made on September 7, 2016. USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case. It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full and fair review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. Additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.”

Magomedov has already earned three wins under the UFC banner, defeating the aforementioned Shawn Jordan, but also Viktཧor Pesta and Josh Copeland as well. Prior to coming to the UFC in 2014, Magomedov also earned a pair of wins over two form𒈔er UFC Heavyweight Champions in Tim Sylvia and Ricco Rodriguez.
